A few weeks ago we ran a picture of four top celebrities of the 1940’s, Bob Hope, Frank Sinatra, Bette Davis and Jimmy Durante, and mentioned that it was rare to find top stars photographed together (outside of publicity stills for movies).
Today we present another photo of 40s stars, all beauties, all major players of their day and ask you to identify them.
Today’s groups are all movie stars. But in future weeks we’ll provide pictures of people from different arenas of fame who once met and were photographed together. It’s such fun to remember.
Below are some more recent film stars who (as the cliche goes) need no introduction.
I think the one holding the magazine is Ann Rutherford and the one to her right is Laraine Day, but I’m not completely sure.

No Mike, not a deHavilland in the bunch. But it is Rita (Cansino) Hayworth on the far right.
