We remember certain actors from Hollywood’s Golden Age not because of their names, or faces, but because of their gestures, or “shtick.”

The two character actors pictured today personify Stars By Shtick.

Edgar Kennedy (top)perfected the “slow Burn” letting him huge hand roam over his forehead and face and bald head.

Fritz Feld (immediately above) had a vocal shtick. The snapped his palm to his mouth and created a “pop” sound. Remember?

Go to YouTube and treat yourself to their star gestures.
