Only the truly dedicated film buff would be watching a film on Christmas Eve.

There are many classics to choose from. Holiday Affair is lightweight and fun. It’s a Wonderful Life more traditional and sentimental.

Last week we did a blog on Bing Crosby. He always lamented that the film White Christmas was a dud. It had a terrible script. He was right. See Holiday Inn instead.

That’s Bing with Fred Astaire and two leading ladies from the forties who are forgotten today, Marjorie Reynolds and Virginia Dale.
